Q: On what kind of transporter will my vehicle be carried?
A: We offer open car carriers or enclosed car trailers, based on your requirement and the nature of your car. It also all depends how much you want to spend. Most are transported via multiple open car carriers, the same type used to transport new vehicles from the manufacturing plant to dealerships. There are many different types of auto hauling, open car carrier trailers, ranging from small three car carriers to the large 11 car carriers.

For the cars that are classic or exotic prototypes, there are enclosed trailers that will see to it that your car is not exposed to extreme weather conditions or elements so that there is no damage caused to your unique car. However if you wish to opt for the open car carriers, you are free to do so.

Q. How long will it take to pickup and deliver my vehicle?
A. Coast-to-coast trips usually take between 10 and 14 days. Shorter trips range from 3 to 10 days, depending on the actual distance. Some factors may delay a trip, including traffic, weather, and truck breakdowns.

Q: How exactly is my car transported?
A: Our transportation service is extremely simple. On the scheduled day for shipping the carrier truck will come to your door to pick up your vehicle. During the pickup and drop-off of the vehicle, the trucking company will complete a detailed physical inspection of the vehicle, on a " bill of lading” inspection report, which is an inspection that the driver performs with you to review if there is any damage on the car before loading it on the truck, the same is done upon delivery . Then your vehicle is carefully loaded and secured in place on the truck, an experienced professional driver will transport it. At your destination, your vehicle will be carefully off-loaded at your door. At that time we ask that you, or your designated representative, re-inspect the vehicle and accept delivery by signing the same "bill of lading" condition report. Overall, it is simple, safe, and virtually effortless. .

Q: If Damage occures?
The majority of car transport experiences are worry-free, with your damage-free vehicle arriving at the estimated time. On occasion, a vehicle may become damaged in transit. If this should happen, note all damage on your bill of lading” inspection report (see item above), obtain the driver's signature. No claims will be honored if the damage is not noted at the time of delivery and acknowledged by the auto delivery driver. Prior to leaving your car with a driver or car transport company, be sure you receive an " Inspection Report." This report provides pick-up and delivery information, current mileage, and MOST IMPORTANTLY shows the condition of your car at time of pick-up – pre-existing scratches and dents, cracked glass/mirrors, general paint condition, etc. Keep this report and use it when you receive your vehicle. Your balance is still due COD for the transportation charges. It will not jeopardize your claim. The auto transporting company usually will not take the vehicle off the truck until you pay for the move. You cannot withhold or deduct moneys from the COD amount to cover any damage that may have occurred while in auto shipping transit. All claims are handled separately once the actual auto transporter has received the signed bill of lading noting the damages.

Q: Do I have to be present when you pick up my vehicle?
A:Either you, or a designated person, have to be present upon pick up of your vehicle to sign a contract " bill of lading” which is an inspection that the driver performs with you to review if there is any damage on the car before loading it on the truck, the same is done upon delivery .

Q. What if I cancel my order?
A. You may cancel your order at any time as long as your vehicle has not been assigned to a truck for pick up. Orders canceled prior to a carrier being dispatched are entitled to a refund. An administration fee of $35 will be charged for orders canceled prior to 5 days after the requested available pick up date. A full refund may be requested if your vehicle is not dispatched within 7 days of the shipping order form’s previously noted date available. If you cancel and your vehicle is dispatched (space reserved on carrier) then your deposit will be non-refundable. If you cancel and your vehicle is dispatched (space reserved on carrier) and you have paid in full then only 50% of your payment will be refunded, the remaining of the money will be used to pay for the truck that is already in route to your pick up location.

Q: Is my vehicle insured during shipment?
A:Yes, your vehicle is insured from the time it is picked up until the time it is delivered.
Q: Can I ship personal items in my vehicle?
A:No for many reasons the department of transportation does not allow the transportation of" personal items" in a vehicle that is being hauled by an auto carrier, items packed in your car are not covered by the motor carrier's insurance (only your vehicle is).
Q. What if my vehicle does not run?
A. We will add additional charges to cover an inoperable vehicle in our quote if you inform us up front of the vehicle's condition. We will add $200 plus loading and unloading charges to your quote if we are not informed of the vehicle's true condition.
